Despite the dirt & grass, the Calipers cleaned up well and will be reinstalled with just a couple new hardware pieces.

This Brake.Pivot Shaft was a real stubborn @#$&!!  As you can see, one misfire with a hammer cracked the large lever. Eventually, I cut both levers off the shaft and replaced them with used parts.

External disk brakes were new to the 73/147 production run. They are a considerable improvement to the previous internal brake. They appear to be over-engineered, which is a good thing!
