In an effort to give the Operator’s left hand something to do, IH moved the PTO Engagement Handle to the left side.
 The action starts by pulling up on the Handle and moving it forward.....

...where the motion is transferred by this Lever the PTO.  The mechanism from the Lever to the PTO is more less the same as the previous design.
